Please note that this tire has received a lot of subPar reviews on tirerack due to them being noisy - and I just want to put in my 2cents .... that I drive an economy car "meaning it has very very little sound insulation at all" & believe me that this tire model rates Very Well in the LOW Noise department - I would say that it ranks among the michelins and bridgestones & goodyears & toyos and yokohamas that i've driven on/owned before - - so they are Not Noisy at all and that is driving over all types of road surfaces coarse/smooth etc - - - - they have a very nice supple ride too absorbing & isolating from bumps ripples potholes well - - so Here is 1 of it's Best traits = the steering feel is Extremely Great & has made car More FUN to drivve in general and especially in corners !!! so Here is 1 thing i noticed that it is seeming to lack in just slightly = the dry braking distance seems to be just slightly down compared to what I was previously running on my Focus.. but it is just a negligible bit different and that could just be down to these being a little more of a lower rolling resistance tire . So final analysis is that [to use sister company tire model analogy] this model 'in my 50 size' is like a perfect blend between a bridgestone potenza and bridgestone turanza & that is a very good thing. n/a on ice - snow rating since i am in Florida and n/a on damp - wet rating as it has not been rainy in my neck of the woods lately. Great job with this model firestone !! - i am very niggly /faultfinding when it comes to my car's tires [another final note but i feel its important - mine say vietnam made & when touching handling carrying tires in & out prior to mounting .. i have to say that the feel of this tire really feels very well engineered quality construction product /inspires confidence in me vs other brands mentioned previously Plus proof is in the pudding ..took very miniscule amount of lead for the tech to balance em on the hunter balancing machine
